Coq10 and Weight loss is a very interesting combination. Coq10 is basically a co enzyme present in every cell. It is an antioxidant nutrient that helps the body in producing energy. The energy is produced within the cell. It is a co enzyme for the function of mitochondria, which is known as the power house of the cell. It is where all the energy for the cell is produced. Coq10 and Weight loss are related because this co enzyme helps in performing a lot of jobs which in turn result in improvement in the overall health of the person. Coq10 has many benefits such as it helps us in maintaining top shape, lowering viscosity of the blood and supporting the immune system.

Although Coq10 is present in organ meat, egg, spinach, broccoli, wheat germ and peanuts, still many people prefer to have supplements of Coq10. However, the quantity of Coq10 in them is quite less; this is why people use supplements. Another reason is that Coq10 is easily affected by heat from cooking. Thus, it is best to have it in raw form, and here lies the problem, Coq10 cannot be eaten in raw form as all the sources in which it is present cannot be eaten raw. Coq10 and weight loss are related; Coq10 increases the energy level in the body and thus puts more and more of the cells to work. When this happens, metabolism speed up, resulting in the consumption of fats from the body. However, unfortunately this is only a theory and has not been proved yet.  This theory is not supported by solid evidence, however, still it has not been denied by everyone and a lot of nutritionist believe that Coq10 and weight loss have some relationship.

This brings us to one final question. Is it good to take Coq10 or not? Well the answer to this remains positive i.e. it is definitely good to take Coq10 but in a certain proportion if you have a deficiency or are prescribed by the doctor. Those of you who train regularly in gym can also benefit from a dose of Coq10. But if you want to use it for weight loss than you must give it a second thought. Though a fair amount of people believe Coq10 and weight loss are related, there is no sufficient evidence to prove it, so it's better to adopt any other weight loss method.
